Things I am still getting used to
Intervals for trains and
buses.
People trying to speak to me like i dont understand english.
I mean for courtesy sake, you should assume everyone here can speak English. And if they give you a puzzled look, then you may use a simplified form. I should have a shirt which says " hello, i can speak English!"
Most buses and trains run 3 services an hour. If you can get a bus
which arrives withim 5 min, you're really lucky or you have good time
management.

Oh, and train platforms can be VERY confusing.

The
student volunteer at the library asked me "passport?" and asked the
next person in line in a complete sentence "do you have a passport?"

Being a student again
Being a student again
It's
been 4 years since graduation and even though I really enjoyed school, I'm
a little stressed when i look at my course outline. And
everyone goes like, "as long as you're out of sg, you will do fine!"
