So excited to be a student again!!!!!

Started off the day with some grocery shopping while Joel continues to sleep in.

Thereafter, we had lunch at this HK restaurant and we made a mistake by ordering 2 portions of food! If you're Asian (unless you're a guy or you are perpetually hungry), never order 2 portions of food.  Look at the crazy huge portion. Food is decent though even though they don't have many reviews online. But, what they do have is a packed restaurant at lunch time.

And yay off we went to school! When I was enrolling for school, modules and everything, I was a little scared. It's been so long since I was a student. But yay! Everyone is so nice on campus hehehe and helpful. The whole school environment is so different! There are student volunteers around the school (as it's Orientation week) whose just stationed around the school to answer your questions.

The student services here are pretty awesome as well! There is cultural mentoring programme where you get paired with a senior of the school to help you adjust to uni life. There are activities lined up for international students to help them adjust to life in Oz. Activities such as an excursion to ikea, movie & pizza nights and conversation classes for those who needs more practice in English. At Student Central, there is even a service where someone looks through your assignement essay and help you see how you can improve it.

I AM SO IMPRESSED.

And there are microwave bars around the school and water coolers are called bubblers. Joel intends to bring a bottle and kope water when he comes fetch me on Thursday nights.

Ended the day shopping at Ikea and browse around to see what else we might need for the new house. Gonna view 3 houses tomorrow, I hope they're ideal (:
